The 7th Malden 15 seat minibus and Ifor Williams Box Van trailer are available for hire to Scout Groups and other bona fide voluntary organisations (private hires are not permitted for insurance reasons).
The minibus can be driven by anyone between the ages of 25 and 69 inclusive holding a full car driving license (B1).
For the minibus:
- short bookings up to 4.5 hours £30 including 20 miles of travel (extra miles £0.89p per mile)
- longer bookings £40 per day including 20 miles travel per day (extra miles £0.89p per mile)
- charges include fuel (cost of fuel purchased will be re-imbursed)
- driver is responsible for ALL uninsured damage up to full amount of insurance excess
- £50 cleaning charge if left in dirty condition
- rates are negotiable if uncompetitive with commercial hire, e.g., short duration long distance
The trailer costs £50 to hire (flat rate for up to 7 days).
